Oil Exploration Company holds a national celebration on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day and the starting of the annual Integrity Week

Under the auspices of the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, Coinciding with the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Oil Exploration Company held at Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Mon. 11/12/2023 a celebration on the occasion of the International Day for Integrity and Anti-Corruption.

The celebration began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah for souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The celebration was attended by the Assistant Director General, Mr. Abbas M. Ali, the manager of the Field Operation Division, and a number of department’s managers and company’s employees.

The Assistant Director General gave a speech on the occasion in which he stressed the importance of anti-corruption and preventing it  in government institutions, and that the prevention of corruption is a national and legitimate duties and the responsibility of everyone.

 In addition, during the celebration, Mrs. Sarah S. Radhi, presented an interactive workshop entitled (Phenomena and  Negative Risks, and illicit Gain).

Also, Mr. Asaad T. Marzouk presented a workshop entitled (Rules of Job Conduct).

 It is noteworthy that the Oil Exploration Company gave a great importance to the issue of integrity, as the Integrity Section was created, which is responsible for following up the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy and preparing quarterly reports that are submitted to the company’s Senior Management to achieve a functional society with transparency and integrity, and enhancing the promotion of ethical and professional values and principles in society.
