Workshop to Launch OEC Productivity Dashboard at the Oil Exploration Company

In implementation of the directions of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, and the Deputy of Oil Ministry for Upstream Affairs, Mr. Basim M. Khudhair, and the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, regarding the adoption of modern technologies and software to enhance institutional performance and fully activate governance, the company's Information and Communications Technology Department held a workshop of the OEC Productivity Dashboard.

 The workshop was attended by the Director General, the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, and a number of managers of divisions, departments and sections, it was held in Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Wed. 24/12/2025.

The workshop was presented by Mrs. Ru'a F. Rahman and Mrs. Shifa’ Abdul Razzaq. The program, developed by self efforts in the Information and Communications Technology Department, aims to present the company's achievements monthly, quarterly, and annually, as well as highlight challenges. This will assist company’s management and department heads in quickly accessing information and supporting both technical and administrative decision-making.

 Data will be entered into the program by the Planning Division and other relevant divisions and departments, contributing to enhanced data accuracy and comprehensiveness.

At the end of the workshop, attendees offered several observations, that the Director General directed to be counted. He commended the ICT Department staff for their efforts in designing the program and emphasized the importance of expediting its completion, given its important role in supporting the company's institutional performance.
