The Third International Scientific Conference

The University of Baghdad / Department of Earth Sciences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil, held its third International Scientific Conference For Iraqi Oil Studies (ICIOS) under the title `` The Role of Earth Sciences in Hydrocarbon Exploration '' for the period (20-21/1/2021).
The Petroleum Exploration Company had a distinguished participation in several researches, including a research on depth displacement and another on attenuation of linear and random seismic noise in the seismic data recorded in the two dimensions.
The company also presented a research entitled “The Geostatistical Model of the Euphrates Reservoir in the Ajeel Oil Field”.
At the end of the conference, the participants were honored with certificates of appreciation for their great efforts in serving the scientific movement in our dear Iraq.
