The Oil Exploration Company organizes a Specialized Lecture Titled "New Technologies in Water Treatment & Seawater Injection in Oil Reservoirs"

Continuing its approach to scientific and technical development, and based on the directions of the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, the Exploration Research and Laboratories Department, in cooperation with the Training and Development Department at the Oil Exploration Company, organized at Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Thu. 24/7/2025 a specialized lecture titled "New Technologies in Water Treatment & Seawater Injection in Oil Reservoirs", presented by Mrs. Me’ad H. Saleh.

The lecture was attended by the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, the expert Hussein S. Odeh, and a number of specialists. The lecture highlighted a number of important scientific topics, most notably water injection techniques and the treatment of associated water extracted from wells. It emphasized the importance of combining chemical, physical, and mechanical methods to achieve effective and sustainable results. The lecture also discussed the topic of injection water treatment and its vital role in enhancing oil reservoir productivity.

The lecture had a significant interaction by the audience, and discussions aimed to developing and intensifying studies in this field was prevailed.
