The Oil Exploration Company Maintains Integrated Management System Conformity Certifications
Under the directions of the Oil Exploration Company's senior management, and under the direct supervision of the company's Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, aimed to consolidating quality principles and implementing best management practices, the company concluded its external audit (second follow-up audit) of its integrated management system, in accordance with the requirements of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems.
The audit covered the company's various formations and sites from 14-18/12/2025 to ensure the efficiency of institutional performance, achieving sustainability, and maintaining the approved conformity certifications.
The company welcomed the external audit team from Baghdad Company for managing Quality Systems, which conducted audits on the administrative formations, in addition to field visits to the 7th and 8th seismic crews in Ninawa Governorate, to verify compliance with the requirements of the approved systems and document the improvement notes.
The inaugural meeting of the audit process was chaired by the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, the Expert Hussein S. Awda, during which the audit mechanism, the approved plan, and the timeline were reviewed.
The audit concluded with a final meeting attended by divisions and departments managers, where the audit team commended the effective implementation of the Integrated Management System and reviewed the key audit findings and observations that will contribute to strengthening corrective actions and ensuring continuous improvement.
The head of the audit team confirmed that the audit results showed the Oil Exploration Company maintained its Integrated Management System conformity certificates, reflecting its commitment to applying international quality standards and enhancing its institutional status and competitiveness.
