The Oil Exploration Company holds a Scientific Lecture about Reservoir Management and Monitoring
As part of its ongoing efforts to develop technical capabilities and enhance specialized knowledge, the Oil Exploration Company, through the Office of the Director General /Technical Projects and Central Follow-up Section, held at Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Tue. 5/8/2025 a scientific lecture entitled: "Reservoir Management and Monitoring".
The lecture was attended by the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, the Expert Hussein S. Odeh, the Manager of the Planning Division, the Manager of the Evaluation Geology Department, and a number of specialists from various divisions and departments.
The lecture was presented by the Engineer Sarah N. Sa’adoun, the manager of the Technical Projects and Central Follow-up Section at the company.
The lecture discussed modern concepts in oil reservoir management, including the construction of (static and kinetic) models and reservoir monitoring mechanisms to achieve the highest economic feasibility. It also reviewed the latest technologies and software adopted in this vital field. The event was held in coordination with the Training and Development Department, which demonstrated outstanding interaction with the topic and subsequent discussions.
This lecture is part of a series of scientific activities aimed to raise the level of technical performance and enhancing the specialized competence of the company's staff, as part of the optimal use of hydrocarbon resources and achieving sustainability and continuous development goals.
