The Oil Exploration Company holds a scientific lecture about nuclear magnetic resonance technology (NMR)

The Oil Exploration Company held a scientific lecture entitled "Technology: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Log Processing Reservoir Saturation Tools Interpretation" at Mohammed Fawzi Hall in the company's headquarters on Sun. 13/4/2025.

The lecture was presented by the Chief Engineer, Saba R. Daoud and the Engineer, Ola A. Fadhel, in the presence of the Manager of the Evaluation Geology Department, Mr. Ali H. Alwan, and a staff from the Geology and Geophysics Division.

The lecture included a detailed explanation for (NMR) technology, one of the most advanced techniques for analyzing the physical and chemical properties of materials in the oil industry. This technology is increasingly used to analyze oil rocks and reservoir fluids (oil, gas, water), and to determine the quality and quantity of fluids, which helps improve exploration and upstream operations and thus increase production.

This lecture was organized as a part of the Oil Exploration Company's Senior Management's commitment to keep pace with developments and using modern technologies in oil and gas exploration operations.

The lecture included meaningful discussions to support the work, in addition to important proposals put forward by attendees aimed to developing the work and keeping pace with global technology, thus contributing to enhance the efficiency of exploration and production operations in the oil sector.
