The Oil Exploration Company Holds a Course Entitled "Petroleum System Analysis and its Applications in Reducing Risk in Exploration Operations"

In implementation of the Oil Exploration Company's policy and the directions of the Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, to exert efforts to raise the technical level of our employees, and relying on our own resources and efforts, the Geology and Geophysics Division, in coordination with the Training and Development Department, held on 5-19/10/2025 a training course entitled "Petroleum System Analysis and its Applications in Reducing Risk in Exploration Operations".

The course was prepared and presented by the manager of the Geology and Geophysics Division, Mr. Ali H. Hajouj.

The course covered the elements and processes of the petroleum system and the technical methods for characterizing exploration risks.

 The lecturer presented examples and practical exercises from the petroleum geology of Iraq.

A number of geologists, geophysicists, and petroleum engineers participated in the course. At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed to the attendees.
