The Oil Exploration Company held a scientific lecture titled "Reservoir Characterization and 3D Modeling."

The Geology and Geophysics Division – Evaluation Geology Department, in cooperation with the Training and Development Department, held in Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Thu. 11/9/2025, a specialized scientific lecture titled "Reservoir Characterization and 3D Modeling".

The lecture was presented by Engineer Farah A. Radhi, who addressed advanced topics in the field of oil reservoir characterization and 3D modeling mechanisms, and their importance in supporting exploration operations.

The study aimed to determine the petrophysical characteristics of Al-Mishrif Formation in Artawi field by interpreting well logs and characterizing the reservoir to understand fluid distribution and formation characteristics, in addition to calculating the oil reservoir through the construction of a 3D geological model.

In the presence of the manager of the Geology and Geophysics Division, Mr. Ali H. Hajouj, along with a number of specialists, who praised the importance of the lecture and the modern scientific information it contained, which would develop expertise and enhance work efficiency in the company.
