The Oil Exploration Company Discusses the Technical Cooperation with KAR Company in Sasan Field Project
As part of its strategic vision to strengthen effective partnerships and support national investment, the senior management of the Oil Exploration Company, represented by the OEC’s Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, is keen to expand the technical cooperation with national and investment companies for its belief that the institutional integration and the exchange of expertise are fundamental pillars for advancing the oil and gas sector, and achieving the optimal exploitation of hydrocarbon resources according to the highest professional standards.
The manager of the Exploration Research and Laboratories Department, Mr. Alaa H. Mohammed, received a technical delegation from KAR Company.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of technical cooperation in Sasan Field project in Ninawa Governorate, specifically regarding laboratory testing and analysis of the field's wells.
They also discussed ways to coordinate technically between the two parties and the specialized staff in the Exploration Research and Laboratories Department and KAR Company, with the aim of finalizing the requirements for signing a joint contract for the necessary laboratory tests, in accordance with approved technical standards.
This cooperation comes as a result of Kar Company's winning bid for Sasan field project within the fifth and sixth licensing rounds of Oil licensing rounds, and the resulting need for technical and specialized integration to ensure highly efficient project execution.
For his part, the Kar Company representative commended the efforts of the Oil Exploration Company and its distinguished role in supporting investment activities, expressing his company's aspiration to strengthen future cooperation and exchange technical expertise.
