The Oil Exploration Company completes the seismic survey program in Wasit Governorate

The Seismic crew:5 , one of the Field Work Division’s formation, completed the implementation of the (Sharq - Dujaila) program of (1944,550 km / length) by a 2D survey method and in record time, defying all environmental conditions and different terrain.
Mr. Bassim Muhammad Khudair, the expert engineer, director general of OEC said: “The aim of carrying out seismic surveys in the region is to confirm the existence of structures and try to explore new structures using modern seismic survey techniques”.
His Excellency added that the program was completed with pure national efforts in October / 2021 and is considered to have hydrocarbon promise and an important source for enhancing the country's oil reserve.
