The Oil Exploration Company and the Iraqi Geologists Syndicate Extend Their Memorandum of joint Cooperation

 In the context of strengthening institutional partnership and supporting the scientific and professional development of the oil sector, the Ministry of Oil/Oil Exploration Company and the Iraqi Geologists Syndicate signed an extension to their Memorandum of joint Cooperation by the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, and Head of the Iraqi Geologists Syndicate, Mr. Saad O. Mohammed, reflecting a shared vision based on integration and exchange of expertise.

 This extension emphasizes the importance of unifying efforts between oil institutions and specialized professional parties, contributing to the development of geological capabilities, supporting scientific research, and providing exploration projects with qualified national expertise, thus keeping pace with the demands of scientific and technological advancements in the oil and gas industry.

 Both parties affirmed that the Memorandum of Cooperation represents an effective framework for expanding the joint work, implementing training programs and specialized workshops, and enhancing the role of Iraqi geologists in supporting exploration plans and the sustainable development of national resources.

 For his part, the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, stated that extending the memorandum of joint cooperation with the Iraqi Geologists Syndicate is a significant step within the company's strategy to strengthen institutional partnerships with specialized professional parties, in line with the Ministry of Oil's policies to support integration among relevant institutions.

He added that this cooperation comes from the company's commitment to developing national geological capabilities, supporting scientific research, and exchanging technical and specialized expertise, thereby contributing to providing exploration projects with qualified personnel and assisting in the development of graduates.
