The National Oil Company holds an expanded meeting to discuss the five-year plan for exploration, production, development and available capacities for export, headed by the Minister of Oil (the company’s president, Mr. Ihsan Abd Algabar).

 
The National Oil Company holds an expanded meeting to discuss the five-year plan for exploration, production, development and available capacities for export, headed by the Minister of Oil (the company’s president, Mr. Ihsan Abd Algabar).
The plan, its requirements and the expected challenges in its implementation were reviewed and discussed according to a strategic vision commensurate with the needs of the interim oil market and expectations and in a manner that guarantees the highest economic return for Iraq.
The Director General of the Exploration Company, the expert, Engineer Basim Muhammad Khudair, indicated that the five-year plan for exploration activity included two main axes, the first being the bilateral and triple seismic survey plan, expanded from north to south, and the exploratory drilling plan, which aims to add new promising reserves of oil and gas.
The Minister emphasized several important matters, observations, and directives related to the plan, which would lead to the enrichment of the plan and the sobriety of its implementation on the ground.
