The Higher Committee for Civil Defense at the Oil Exploration Company held an important meeting to discuss safety and emergency procedures

Under the directions of the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, to enhance safety procedures and emergency preparedness within the company, the Higher Committee for Civil Defense at the Oil Exploration Company, chaired by the Director General, along with his assistances and several committee members, held an important meeting in Ninawa Hall on Mon. 20/4/2026.                              

During the meeting, the emergency response plan and crisis management procedures for potential challenges facing the company's work sites were discussed. A number of decisions were made to ensure the continuity of operations, protect lives and equipment, and activate alternative plans to guarantee smooth workflow and safeguard critical company information. This aims to ensure the fastest possible return to work sites in the event of any crisis.                                                                                                     

The committee emphasized the importance of strict adherence to safety procedures and approved instructions, and the necessity of increasing awareness and training programs to protect employees and property and maintain efficient operations.                                                                         

 At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee issued several recommendations aimed to raising the level of preparedness and enhancing a safe working environment in accordance with best practices.
