The Director General of Oil Exploration Company Visits Al-Rahma Orphanage

Under the directions of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, and The Deputy of the Ministry of Oil for Upstream Affairs, Mr. Basim M. Khudhair, and in fulfillment of the humanitarian and social duty incumbent upon the Sub-Committee for Supporting the Families of Martyrs and Wounded of the Popular Mobilization Forces and Community Initiatives at the Oil Exploration Company, the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, visited on Sun. 4/1/2026 Al-Rahma Orphanage.

 The visit was part of supporting orphans and promoting the values ​​of social solidarity. The Director General distributed 240 financial gifts to orphans, in coordination with Al-Rahma Orphanage.

During the visit, Dr. Osama R. Hussein emphasized that the Oil Exploration Company, in addition to its national role in bolstering hydrocarbon reserves and supporting the national economy, firmly believes that social responsibility is an integral part of its mission. The company continuously strives to contribute in supporting vulnerable groups, particularly the families of martyrs and orphans.

The Director General was accompanied on the visit by the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abbas M. Ali. They were received by the former Director General at the Ministry of Oil and head of Al-Rahma Orphan Care Organization, Mr. Sadiq Al-Yassiri.

Mr. Al-Yassiri expressed his gratitude for this humanitarian initiative, commending the Oil Exploration Company's community role and affirming that the visit would have a significant positive impact on the orphans and support their lives.
