The Director General of Oil Exploration Company Receives a Delegation from UEG

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received a delegation from UEG, headed by CEO Mr. jang Guangfa, to discuss strengthening cooperation and reviewing progress on exploration projects.

The meeting included a review of the company's key activities, with a detailed technical presentation about seismic survey operations in Exploration Block 9.

This presentation covered the achieved progress and the stages of field development, along with the timelines for completing the work. This will contribute to a better understanding of geological structures and support opportunities for optimal development and resource investment.

 Both parties emphasized the importance of continued coordination and integration in project implementation. This will enhance knowledge transfer and the application of best global practices, contributing to the support of the oil and gas sector in Iraq, meeting energy demands, and supporting national development goals.

At the end of the meeting, the CEO of UEG praised the outstanding efforts of the staff of Oil Exploration Company, appreciating the efficiency of its personnel and the advanced equipment and capabilities it possesses, which have contributed to enhancing the level of performance and raising the efficiency of work implementation, which is reflected positively on the progress of joint operations and the quality of achievement.
