The Director General of Oil Exploration Company Participates in Baghdad International Energy Forum 2025
The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, participated on Saturday and Sunday in Baghdad International Energy Forum 2025, which started yesterday in Baghdad, under the patronage and in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia'a Al-Sudani, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, along with a number of ministers and energy sector leaders at the regional and international levels.
The forum was organized by Ghadan Institution for Risk Management in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, with huge participation of energy ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Iran, Turkey, Libya, and Oman, as well as leaders from prestigious international organizations such as OPEC and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), and representatives of major international companies operating in the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors.
The forum was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, along with a number of ministers and energy sector leaders from the region.
Dr. Osama Raouf's participation in the forum reflects the Ministry of Oil's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and expanding sustainable investment opportunities in the energy sector. This contributes to supporting strategic partnerships between national and international institutions and enhances Iraq's position as a key player in the global energy market.
The Director General was accompanied during the forum by the Manager of the Public Relations Department.
