The Director General of Oil Exploration Company Honors Young Employees for Their Exceptional Efforts
As part of the ongoing effort to support youth and stimulate promising talent, the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, honored on Sun. 3/8/2025 two of the company's young employees in recognition of their initiatives and outstanding efforts in developing technical work within the company.
The honoring ceremony was held based on the nomination of the Youth Support Subcommittee, formed on the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Oil, as part of the government program aimed to empowering youth and be benefit of their potential.
The honorees included Ms. Gheed J. Abd, an employee at the Geology and Geophysics Division, for her self-contribution to achieve advanced geological studies to strengthening the company's technical database and Mr. Mustafa Q. Saleh, an employee in the 8th Seismic crew of the Field Operation Division, for his contribution in the maintenance and rehabilitation of GPS antennas for seismic survey vibrators, which are expensive to maintain in local markets.
During the honoring ceremony, the Director General emphasized that this initiative comes within the context of senior management's support for innovation and creativity, and encouraging young people to provide practical and technical solutions that contribute to developing the company's performance and raising its operational efficiency.
He added that honoring young talents represents a true translation of the government and Ministry of Oil's orientation toward investing in youth energies and creating a work environment that stimulates creativity and initiative. He noted that the company will continue to support this important group through training programs and development opportunities.
The honoring ceremony was attended by members of the Youth Support Subcommittee, who expressed their pride in these outstanding young role models. They affirmed the committee's continued support for talent and its provision of recommendations that contribute to strengthening the role of youth across the company's various functions.
