The Deputy of the Ministry of Oil for Upstream Affairs inaugurates the 3rd Iraq International Oil, Gas, and Renewable Energy Fair and Conference 2025

The Deputy of the Ministry of Oil for Upstream Affairs, The Engineer Basim Mohammed Khudhair, inaugurated the 3rd Iraq International Oil, Gas, Licensing Rounds, and Renewable Energy Fair and Conference, which runs from Sep. 8-11/2025.

 The Fair includes panel discussions and specialized workshops, in addition to scientific and technical events show the latest technologies and projects in the oil and gas sector.

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, and his assistant for administrative affairs, the Expert, Hussein S. Owda, participated in the opening ceremony.

In his address, the Director General emphasized that the Fair presents a significant opportunity to show available investment opportunities, strengthen international partnerships, and exchange expertise and modern technologies, thereby contributing in the development of the oil industry and increasing national production rates.

Fairs, conferences, and forums are important events for exchanging expertise in the oil and gas industry field through the presence of local and international companies.
