The Board of Directors of Oil Exploration Company Holds its 8th Meeting of its 7th Term
The Board of Directors of Oil Exploration Company, chaired by the Director General of OEC, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, held on Wed. 27/8/2025 its 8th meeting of its 7th term, with all members in attendance.
The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Director General, who expressed his appreciation for the great efforts of the company's staff in all work sites. He also commended the company's achievements.
The meeting commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a discussion of the agenda.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of the current progress rates of the seismic survey programs, as well as a review of the roadmap for the upcoming period. This roadmap aims to enhance performance efficiency and accelerate the pace of work within the company.
The Board also discussed the challenges facing technical and field operations and explored ways to overcome them by adopting a renewed vision that combines field experience with institutional planning.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director General affirmed the company’s continued support for adopting modern technology, working as a unified team, and raising the efficiency of its workforce, thereby contributing to increased productivity and strengthening the company’s position as a key pillar in supporting the national economy.
