Seismic Crew 4: High Production Rates in Spite of Difficulties

Seismic Crew 4, one of the formations of the Field Operations Division, OEC, and despite the difficulties encountered in the Survey of the Majnoon Oil Field, Basra, where the geographical area currently under seismic survey contains marshes and water bodies; yet the staff of Crew 4 are up to the challenge and have achieved in the first few days of 2021 an increase in daily production exceeding 120 shot points per day while reaching 70% work completion.

The 3D seismic survey program is considered a high potential hydrocarbon program as it is one of the giant projects that have been undertaken by OEC to implement with the latest technologies, high quality and pure Iraqi expertise for the benefit of the Basra Oil Company.
