Oil Exploration Company Organizes Awareness Lecture on Cybersecurity

As part of its efforts to enhance security awareness and data protection, Oil Exploration Company (OEC) organized an awareness lecture on cybersecurity in cooperation with Ministry of Interior, Directorate of Public Relations and Media, Department of Friends of the Interior, an educational lecture on the subject of cybersecurity and electronic extortion was lectured by Mr. Mohammed Naseer Jameel and a number of officers of the Ministry of Interior, Department of Friends of the Interior.

The lecture was attended by a number of OEC employees and specialists in the field of technology and information security. At the end of the lecture, views and inquiries were exchanged on ways to improve cybersecurity in the work environment, and the importance of continuous training to keep pace with developments in this field was emphasized. This event is part of a series of awareness lectures organized by OEC for its keenness to raise the level of security awareness among its employees.
