Oil Exploration Company is preparing to implement the contract signed with the Chinese EBS company to survey oil wells in the southern east Baghdad field using modern and professional technologies, in order to increase oil and gas productivity, the Oil Exploration Company, represented by VSP crew of the Field Operation Division to implement the contract with the Chinese EBS company to survey oil-producing wells in the southern East Baghdad field.
The contract includes vertical surveys using zero offset and far offset technology using a vibrator power source and lowering a maximum of six well equipment. The work includes surveying vertical wells with an inclination of up to 30 degrees, the survey will be carried out exclusively for cemented wells. According to the contract with the company, the vertical survey will be carried out for three wells located within the southern east Baghdad field affiliated with the MDOC.
The VSP crew is the only one that specialized in the field of zero offset, far offset, and multi offset in Iraq, in addition to implementing projects with care and high professionalism that compete with international companies.
It is noteworthy that the VSP crew completed many investment contracts with international companies, as the crew worked in drilling towers that were classified as dangerous works due to the unstable condition of the well and the gases emitted from the wells, especially H2S gas. Despite the difficulties, the crew carried out the work for Halliburton Company in Block 9 of Al-Fayhaa field.
The crew is working on surveying oil wells in order to update the structural and geological model, depending on the data and technical information provided by vertical survey technology to guide drilling operations to avoid problems that may arise during the implementation of the work, as well as reducing time and effort to increase production.
