Oil Exploration Company Honors Retired Employees
Under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, and in a gesture of loyalty and appreciation for their prolific career, Oil Exploration Company (OEC) organized, on Thursday, 20 February 2025, an honorary ceremony to honor a number of its retired employees, in the presence of the Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, and a number of its employees, at Mohamed Fawzi Hall. During the ceremony, the Director General delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts of the retirees and their dedication and devotion in serving the company, stressing that this honor is not just a farewell moment, but rather an appreciation of a journey full of achievements. "You have been key pillars in the company's successes, and you have been an example of dedication and hard work. Your fingerprints will remain engraved in our record of achievements and will continue to inspire generations to come", he added.
He also pointed out that retirement is not the end of the road, but rather the beginning of a new phase full of opportunities and experiences, expressing confidence that the experiences of retirees will remain an important reference in various fields. At the end of the ceremony, shields of appreciation were presented to deceased retirees and their families, in honor of their distinguished careers, in an atmosphere of appreciation and gratitude to this elite who contributed to elevating OEC and enhancing its role in the oil exploration sector.
