Oil Exploration Company honors its workers on the occasion of International Workers' Day in recognition of their national contributions

Under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, in celebration of International Workers' Day, and in the presence of OEC Director General, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, the Oil Exploration Company organized in Muhammad Fawzi Hall at the company's headquarters on Sun. 4/5/2025 a celebration for honoring the daily workers, expressing support and appreciation for their great efforts in the seismic crews and other technical departments, and in appreciation of their national role in progress and strengthen the national economy.

In a speech delivered during the celebration, the Company's Director General, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, said: "We extend our warmest congratulations and blessings for all Iraqi workers who have made strenuous efforts to rebuild our country. We extend our thanks and appreciation to the workers in the seismic crews and other technical departments who have continued working despite the challenges and environmental difficulties, affirming our company's leading position in the field of oil exploration”.

The Director General concluded his speech by emphasizing that this occasion is an opportunity to highlight the real progress made by workers in building this vital sector, which represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the national economy.

The celebration was attended by the Assistants Director General for Technical Affairs and Administrative Affairs, the Managers of divisions and departments, expressing solidarity between management and workers.
