Oil Exploration Company Discusses Cooperation with Anton Oilfield Service Group LTD

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company (OEC), Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received on Wednesday, 5 February 2025, a delegation from Anton Oilfield Service Group LTD. During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation to implement the development of the Dhafra Field in Wasit Governorate.

The Director General stressed the importance of cooperation with leading international companies to adopt best practices in the field of exploration, which contributes to the creation of new oil and gas reservoirs. He expressed the OEC readiness to carry out seismic surveys and process and interpret seismic data, as he explained to the delegation that OEC owns eight seismic crews equipped with the latest international technologies and an advanced processing center, in addition to having advanced staff in the field of seismic interpretations. For his part, the representative of Anton Oilfield Service Group LTD praised the investment opportunities available in Iraq, expressing the company's aspiration to build strategic partnerships that support the oil sector and enhance the utilization of natural resources.
