OEC Director General Receives the Deputy Director General of Al-Jass Arabian Company

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received on Mon. 6/4/2026 the Deputy Director General of Al-Jass  Arabian Company, Dr. Wisam I. Taher, and the manager of the Services Department at the company, Eng. Razzaq D. Rasen.

 During the meeting, they discussed prospects for joint cooperation between the two parties, particularly in the fields of exploratory drilling and rock core laboratory testing, which contributes to developing technical performance and increasing the efficiency of implementing oil projects.                                   

Dr. Osama emphasized that “The company operates according to a strategic vision aimed to strengthening partnerships with specialized companies, which supports the development of exploration operations and raises the level of accuracy in rock sample analysis, in line with the latest international standards.”    

For his part, Dr. Wissam explained that “Cooperation with the Oil Exploration Company represents an important step towards integrating technical expertise and using modern technologies in the field of laboratory testing, which contributes to achieving accurate results that support technical decisions in exploration projects.”                                                                                         

This meeting comes within the framework of the company's management orientations towards openness to quality partnerships, which contributes to consolidating its leading position in the field of exploration and supporting plans to develop the oil sector in Iraq.
