OEC Director General receives a delegation from the Russian company Lukoil, They Discuss Enhancing Joint Cooperation Between the Two Companies

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, received at his office on Thu.17/4/2025 a delegation from the Russian company, Lukoil.

During the meeting, they discussed the joint cooperation in the field of oil services between the two companies, particularly with regard to laboratory analysis, the preparation and implementation of technical studies, and exploratory drilling services, which will contribute to support and develop the exploration projects in Iraq.

On the sidelines of the visit, an expanded workshop was held, attended by the Assistants of Director General for Technical and Administrative Affairs, Managers of Divisions, and a number of specialists from the company, along with the delegation, where several technical files and ways to enhance coordination between the two parties were discussed.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the two parties agreed on the importance of continuing to hold joint meetings and workshops and increasing the technical cooperation to ensure effective results in exploration and supporting efforts to develop the oil sector in Iraq.
