OEC Director General: Employees' Rights a Priority; Work Continues to Expedite Residential Land Allocation
The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received a number of employees from the seismic crews and company’s sites, in the presence of newly elected Board Member, Mr. Asa’ad T. Marzouq.
During the meeting, the allocation of residential land plots to employees was discussed, reflecting the senior management's commitment to this vital matter and enhancing the job save and social well-being of the company’s staff.
The Director General welcomed the attendees, expressing his pleasure at the visit and the opportunity to meet directly with a number of the seismic crews’ employees. He emphasized that continuous communication with employees is a fundamental aspect of administrative work, as it plays a crucial role in identifying challenges and effectively responding to their needs.
During the meeting, he affirmed that employees' rights are a top priority for management. He noted his personal and ongoing monitoring of the residential land allocation process and his commitment to increasing coordination with relevant parties to complete the necessary procedures in accordance with established legal regulations, ensuring fairness and transparency in the distribution.
He also explained that the company's legal department is following up this matter daily, in addition to the ongoing oversight by the Board of Directors. He noted that he had instructed the Board to make decisions that guarantee the rights of the employees and support their legitimate demands for public interest.
The Director General directed to put a clear timeline for addressing obstacles, which will contribute to accelerating progress and transforming challenges into practical, implementable steps.
At the conclusion of the meeting, He commended the significant efforts exerted by the employees in the seismic crews and the staff of the company's center, praising their dedication and commitment to fulfilling their duties. He affirmed that the administration is committed to supporting their rights and providing a stable work environment befitting their contributions and continuous efforts.
