In implementation of the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, The Ministry of Oil conducts a virtual safety and emergency practice

Under the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Supreme Emergency Committee, the Engineer Hayan A. Al-Sawad, regarding the importance of conducting virtual training practices for emergency situations in the Ministerial Oil Complex.

 a virtual practice was conducted on Mon. 4/8/2025 for employee evacuation operations at the Oil Projects Company and the Oil Exploration Company, under the supervision of the Supreme Emergency Committees of the two companies in the presence of the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein.

The supervisor of the implementation of the emergency preparedness and response plan, the Engineer Abbas F. Thuwaini, stated that during the practice, an explanation was provided on how to extinguish fires and evacuate employees by coordinators and members of the emergency teams, in coordination with the Safety and Fire Section at the Ministerial Oil Complex and the Emergency Team Leader, Mr. Mohammed M. Abbas.

He indicated that the practice was carried out successfully and with excellence, as employees of the oil complex were made aware on all safety and emergency procedures.
