Director General of Oil Exploration Company Receives Army Aviation Commander to Discuss Joint Cooperation

Director General of Oil Exploration Company (OEC), Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received in his office, on 11 February 2025, the Commander of the Army Aviation, Lieutenant General Pilot Mohammed Abdul Karim Awfi, in the presence of Director of Air Transport Section, Mr. Mohammed Kilo. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for joint cooperation between OEC and Army Aviation, especially in the field of providing air support for survey and exploration operations and facilitating the transfer of technical teams to remote sites.

The Director General stressed that OEC, through the Air Transport Section, provides air support services to all oil companies affiliated to the Ministry of Oil, with the aim of ensuring the efficient and safe conduct of field operations. For his part, Army Aviation Commander Awfi expressed the readiness of Army Aviation to provide full support to OEC and enhance cooperation to serve the development of the oil sector and achieve common national goals.
