A delegation from the Chinese company Sinopec visited the Third Seismic Crew

In accordance with the directions of the Senior Management of Oil Exploration Company, represented by the Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, which emphasize the importance of strengthening cooperation with international companies specializing in the oil and gas sectors.

a delegation from Sinopec visited on 3/11/2025 the Third Seismic Crew to deepen the prospects for joint cooperation and to learn about the technical and field capabilities available at our company.

This visit followed Sinopec's winning bids for Sumer and Adan blocks within the Fifth and Sixth Licensing Rounds. The visit aimed to know the capabilities and technical expertise of the Oil Exploration Company and the advanced technologies and equipment it possesses for implementing seismic survey programs.

 The delegation was accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Third Seismic Crew, Mr. Raed Rasoul Aboud, and the Deputy Manager of the Quality Control Department, Mr. Waleed Shaker Tawfiq, who provided a detailed explanation about the equipment and technologies used in implementing the seismic survey program (West Khader Al-Mai) in Al-Muthanna Governorate using the 2D seismic survey method.

 During the tour, the delegation inspected the field workshops and the modern software used. They also visited the work lines where the vibrators and recording equipment were operating with remarkable efficiency, reflecting a high level of competence and organization.

 At the conclusion of the visit, the Sinopec delegation expressed their great admiration for the technical capabilities and modern equipment possessed by the Oil Exploration Company. They praised the high level of professionalism and integrated performance they witnessed, emphasizing that these capabilities represent a leading model in field operations that will contribute to success the future cooperation projects between the two parties. It is hoped that the seismic crews of the Oil Exploration Company will conduct the seismic survey of Sumer and Adai blocks for the Chinese company Sinopec.
