The Oil Exploration Company, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission, Held an educational workshop entitled "Environmental Integrity."

As part of its efforts to enhance the principles of integrity and transparency, and to establish a culture of corruption prevention, and under the implementation of the directions of the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, the Legal Department of the Oil Exploration Company, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission / the Iraqi Academy for Combating Corruption, held at Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Sun. 21/ 6/ 2026 an educational workshop entitled "Environmental Integrity".

The workshop was attended by the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs and Head of the Sub-Committee for Combating Corruption and Fraud Reduction at the Oil Exploration Company, the Expert Hussein S. Awda, along with members of the Debt and Anti-Corruption Response Committee and a number of specialists.

 The workshop aimed to raise legal awareness and promote the concepts of integrity and professional compliance, as well as to introduce the procedures and mechanisms that can reduce manifestations of administrative and financial corruption, thereby contributing to the development of the institutional operation environment and the consolidation of the principles of good governance.

The workshop included a speech by the Head of the Committee at the company and a lecture on the activities of the company's Anti-Corruption Subcommittee, presented by Legal Advisor Ms. Sarah S. Radhi. Her lecture addressed the company's anti-corruption efforts and national anti-corruption mechanisms, reviewing the committee's works according to the letter of appreciation awarded to the committee for its efforts.

A representative from the Federal Integrity Commission and the Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy also delivered a lecture on environmental integrity and its role in reducing corruption, highlighting key legislation and procedures related to integrity and anti-corruption, and ways to promote responsible professional conduct.

This workshop is part of the joint cooperation between the Oil Exploration Company and the Federal Integrity Commission, in line with national directions aimed to institute effective institutions based on the principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity.
