The Oil Exploration Company held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese Anton Oil, operator of Al-Dhafria oil field, to review the results of exploration and evaluation plans

This meeting was held in accordance with the directives of the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, to conduct specialized workshops and applied research to attract investments, enhance national production, and meet the requirements of exploration and evaluation plans for petroleum licensing round projects.

The Oil Exploration Company held at Al-Dabouni Hall on 19/7/2026 a meeting with representatives of the Chinese Anton Oil, operator of Al-Dhafria oil field, in the Al-Dubouni Hall.

The meeting was attended by the manager of the Geological and Geophysical Division, Mr. Ali H. Hajouj, the manager of the Planning Division, Mr. Bashar R. Rashid, and a number of specialized staff members.

The meeting, which included representatives from both companies, discussed the results of reprocessing and interpreting seismic data after integrating it with well data, including Al-Dhafria (3) well. Representatives of Anton Oil listened to the initial observations made by specialists in our company for their support to the recommendations that were put forward during the meeting.
