The Director General of the Oil Exploration Company Inspects the Operations of 7th Seismic Crew
In line with the senior management's commitment to following up the field operations, the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, accompanied by the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abbas M. Ali, the manager of the Field Operations Division, the manager of the Finance Department, the Deputy manager of the Human Resources Department, the manager of the Media and Government Communication Section, and the manager of the Public Relations Department, visited on Fri. 26/9/2025 the 7th Seismic Crew, one of the Field Operations Divisions 's formations.
He met with the head of the 7th Seismic Crew, the sections managers, and the crew's staff, closely observing the progress of work and the efforts exerted by the engineering and technical staff. He commended the dedication and commitment shown by the employees in carrying out their duties with high efficiency despite the nature and conditions of field work.
The Director General also visited the work site, met with the vibrators' crew, and reviewed their needs and observations.
It is worth noting that the 7th Seismic Crew continues its work on "Adaiya" program in Ninawa Governorate, utilizing 2D seismic surveying technology. The program, which commenced on March 6, 2025, has reached approximately 77.2% completion to date, covering a total area of 2,246.05 km/ length.
During his visit, the Director General emphasized that these efforts are fundamental to the success of exploration projects. He urged the team to redouble their efforts and continue working as a one team to achieve the company's goals and strategic plans.
At the conclusion of his visit, the Director General addressed the employees, stating: "What you are doing today is a pioneering national endeavor that carries a message for the people of our beloved country. Your dedication to duty reflects a distinguished image of the creative Iraqi worker. We are confident that with your perseverance and sincerity, we will continue to achieve accomplishments that elevate the Oil Exploration Company and place Iraq in its rightful leading position."
