The Director General of Oil Exploration Company Receives a Delegation from Anton Oil Company

In line with strategic directions aimed to expanding cooperation with specialized international companies, and based on the vision of the Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, to develop exploration work and enhance technical capabilities, he received at the company's headquarters on Sun. 3/5/2026 a delegation from Anton Oil Company.

During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for joint cooperation and prospects for future partnerships, particularly in the areas of seismic surveys and oilfield services, with a focus on employing the latest global technologies in exploration operations. This aims to contribute to increase performance efficiency, enhanced productivity, and increased hydrocarbon reserves, thereby supporting the national economy.

For their part, the Anton Oil delegation expressed their interest in strengthening cooperation with the Oil Exploration Company, praising its accumulated experience and specialized technical expertise. They affirmed their company's readiness to provide technical support and exchange experiences to achieve the mutual interests of both parties.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and communication, and agreed to hold future meetings to follow up the implementation of the proposals and discuss opportunities for joint cooperation.

 It is worth noting that Anton Oil is developing Al-Dhufria field, which belongs to the MDOC, and has drilled an exploratory well and will drill another appraisal well. Anton Oil also expressed interest in signing a contract for a 3D seismic survey, which our company will conduct.
