A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Oil participated in Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Fair and Conference (ADIPEC).

In accordance with the directions of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, a high-level delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil participated in  Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Fair and Conference (ADIPEC), one of the world's largest events in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

The delegation included Advisor of the Minister of Oil for Legal and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Hamdan Awaijel, Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, Director General of the Internal Audit Directorate, Mr. Ziad H. Obeid, Director General of the Studies, Planning, and Follow-up Directorate, Mr. Naseer A. Jabbar, Director General of the Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Directorate, Mr. Basim Taher, the Assistant Director General of the Training and Development Directorate and several specialists from various directorates within the Ministry.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the latest technologies and innovations developed by leading international companies in the fields of exploration, production, refining, and renewable energy. They also visited the pavilions of several companies specializing in oil industries and related services.

 The Iraqi delegation received significant attention from representatives of international companies who expressed their desire to strengthen cooperation and operations in Iraq's oil and gas sector, given its promising investment opportunities and attractive investment climate.

The Ministry of Oil's participation in this event is part of its strategy to enhance communication with international companies and exchange expertise and modern technologies, thereby contributing to the development of Iraq's oil and gas sector.
